It’s not a Pez dispenser (per se), but it has a Pez, and the rules for OCD require that I collect it. It’s the Jerry Seinfeld Funko Pop! holding a Tweety Pez dispenser. Famous from one of it’s episodes. A special addition to me Pez Collection, and joins […]
We have the new European Father’s Day Pez dispenser created for Dad’s in Europe and beyond. Like it’s American cousin, it also has Super Dad on the stem, but it’s a cool looking moustache. An excellent special addition to the Pez collection, and museum …
We had a runner, but I found it. One of the 3 caterpillars survived, and was looking like it was going to cocoon. So, we went to bed. Instead, it decided to roam around, and when we woke up, it was missing. This has happened before, where they […]
Pez just surprised everyone with a new candy flavor, with it’s own new mascot. Meet the Pez Dragon Fruit Mascot. The candy is quite good, and I think there is some connection to Game of Thrones. Very nice new addition to the Pez collection, and Mascot family …
Some knucklehead in Malba decided to remove all the No Standing 9pm – 9am signs along the jetty, and replace them with fraudulent No Standing Anytime signs. A real cheap job too, cause they only printed one side of the sign. Besides, it’s missing all of the usual […]
2 weeks ago this praying mantis egg case produced about 200 mantids. I left it outside, after they all emerged. Or so I thought. The other day, I happen to notice more mantids emerging. As I’m watching I then notice an army of ants start to arrive and […]

Have I mentioned that I love bees too ???
We also have the Monk parakeets at the Jetty …
I’ve been keeping an eye on another starling nest at the Jetty. Looks like this one still has 2 fledglings that are being coaxed to come out by both momma and it’s other 2 siblings. These guys make a nest in the tightest of places …
The 3 caterpillars are doing well, and have changed to their next stage. You can even see the prior stage skin that was shed. Still hoping I have enough fennel to keep them going …

I spotted our first Black Swallowtail butterfly laying eggs on the ‘dill’ plants. We’re having an issue with getting real fennel this year, so we’ve had to replace with dill, and today she showed up and laid a few eggs. The plants are not doing well, so it […]
