When hawks attack – Part Deux … Nature is ugly. It’s not always fun, and games at the Leone Nature Preserve. We had another hawk attack the other day. This hawk flew through the branches, and tried to snatch a mourning dove. The hawk missed, but the mourning dove, smashed into our sliding glass door, and sadly, didn’t make it. He ended up on our railing, and the hawk was about to have at it, before it got spooked, and flew off. Leaving me to clean up the mess it left … The circle of life. On the plus side, much like a cinematographer, I captured it from 2 camera angles …
