A female Goldfinch has showed up at the new feeders. Joining in the fun with the House Finches, Black-capped Chickadees, and Tifted Titmouses. Even the Nuthatches have been by. Hoping the bright yellow male shows up soon.

This Cooper’s Hawk slammed into our backyard sliding glass door window, while going after a Mourning dove. Beginning is full speed, last half is 1/8 speed. I can’t be sure, but it kinda looks like he might be carrying something away …
