11 & 12 emerged this morning before we woke up. So, they were ready to take flight, but spent some quality time with us. I even managed to wear matching earrings. Both are males, which brings our season total to 7 males, 5 females so far. We have about 8 other caterpillars eating like animals, and yesterday, one of our girls stopped by the yard, and left almost 30 new eggs on the fennel. Got some great snaps of her laying her eggs. One shot you can even see the egg coming out. 🦋 🦋
