20 years ? 2 decades ? For some, like me, it feels not so long ago. I’m reminded of this day often, and still have difficulty watching all the ‘pomp & circumstance’ every year. We’re a country that has lost it’s way. We’ve learned nothing during these past 7,300 days. It’s a day we should all never forget, however, many have, and even more young people don’t even know of that God-awful day. I know it changed me, and my family forever. I’m ever more proud, and even more anxious for my 2 sons who serve our city in the FDNY & NYPD each day. And these days, it’s a thankless job, ever more dangerous than any other time. I hope for a better future, because we don’t have tomorrow as a given. I pray for our grandchildren, who must inherit what we’ve become.
Time is passing, loved ones are facing tough challenges, or leaving us way too early. Sadly, it does not get better as time goes on. If we do nothing else as a nation, we must promise each other to Never Forget …
And with that said, I can’t help but ask that you take a few minutes and follow this link to a special tribute video page, w/audio, entitled simply – Remember The Blood of Heroes – it is painful to watch, but important to remember that day. Never Forget – God Bless America !!! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
