It’s been 3 years for another rough anniversary I must endure, so it’s extremely hard to imagine that it’s been 17 years since that painful day on a beautiful September morning. I still think about it every damn day of my life. I think of all that happened then, and has happened since. I worry about my family, and our country. I do my best to honor the men and women who serve our country every day. I have 2 sons serving the FDNY & NYPD each day. Putting themselves at risk for others each day. I hope for them to come home each day to their family or loved ones. I worry about our other family members who serve in our FDNY and NYPD, and pray they return safely home to their families each day. We are very PROUD of them all, their sacrifices, and the sacrifices of their fellow brothers and sisters. I continue to hope for a better future soon, because we don’t have tomorrow as a given. I’m always hopeful that this message sinks in to some people. Time is passing, years are now passing us by ever faster. Children are growing up without our love, and our hurt heightens daily. Sadly, it does not get better as time goes on.
Life is short, family is important and our country will Never Forget … And with that said, I can’t help but ask that you take a few minutes and follow this link to a special tribute page, w/audio, entitled simply – Remember The Blood of Heroes – it is painful to watch, but important to remember that day. God Bless America !!!
