I call this ‘Getting shit done !!!’ – I submitted this request to the NYC Dept of Transportation, regarding the Alley Pond Environmental Center on Northern Blvd (APEC). They need a traffic light there to get visitors in and out safely. I stop by almost every day. And it’s a bitch to leave – I submitted this on 5/8/18, and got this letter today. I figure they sent a guy one day, saw all the school buses, may have seen a few make the extremely dangerous left turn across the road, and said we better do something ASAP before a whole bus load of kids get killed. So now they will install a traffic signal there, by 6/30/18  …
