Cops: Convicted arsonist arrested in Whitestone fire

A convicted arsonist has been arrested and charged with setting fire to a diner in Queens after stealing cigarettes, authorities said. The blaze gutted the popular eatery and seriously damaged seven other businesses, fire officials said. there was a big fire at the whitestone shopping center last night. it took out the whole row of stores near lollipops. photos will be posted later
