Another ship taken over by Somali pirates. Explain to me why ships on the high seas have no means of protecting themselves ? Not even one shotgun is on board ? How the hell can pirates in small boats, get onto your huge ship without you beating them down ? And if no ship has weapons, GET THEM. |

The White House is saying Barry didn’t bow to the King of Saudi Arabia. They say he reached out with 2 hands and shook his hand, and the King was a bit shorter than Obama. Well, you watch it for yourself and decide for yourself. Someone is lying, so, it’s either your eyes or your White House. |
“It wasn’t a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he’s taller than King Abdullah,” said an Obama aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

It was good to see ET the other day at work. He’s recovering well from recent surgery, and is in good spirits. Teeth or no teeth, he still talks up a storm. And a special thanks for helping the OnDemand team turn off those AFS reports from going to ADL. |

What’s going to happen when all the smokers quit, and there is no more tax money coming in to pay for the children’s health care ? Will we really let all those kids just die ? Read about the latest increases. |

This just in from our Buffalo friend, DF – Barocky Road ice cream |
In Honor of the 44th President of the United States , Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream has issued a new flavor, “Barocky Road.”
Barocky Road is a blend of half Vanilla, half Chocolate, and surrounded by Nuts and Flakes. The Vanilla portion of the mix is not openly advertised and usually denied as an ingredient. The Nuts and Flakes are all very bitter and hard to swallow.
The Cost is $100.00 per scoop. The press has been raving about how great this is so expect the price to increase. The demand is heavy so expect to stand in line for quite a while to purchase one. When purchased, it will be presented to you in a large beautiful cone, but then, the ice cream is taken away and given to someone else who hasn’t paid for it, nor had to stand in line.
Thus, you are left with an empty wallet, no change, holding an empty cone, and no hope of getting your share.

We had Family Fun Day today at the new Shea Stadium. We had a great time, despite the crazy wind we had. Stadium is pretty nice, all seats seem good. Pics will be ready on Sunday. Boston won, and hit 2 homers, including the first grand slam by a pro player at the new stadium. Word of advice, beware of the Shea snow that falls a lot during the game. |

What’s with Barry doing the full bow before the Saudi King. Gotta wonder. |

Only a free society would be so fucked up as to turn off security cameras because they weren’t meeting quality standards. Yes, better to have no video than any video. And of all locations, right at the start of the G20 Summit. Hmmm? |

Good thing I haven’t gotten to that poisoned bag of pistachios my sister-in-law got me. I usually go through them quickly. Thanks Babs… |

Close your eyes, and tell the truth. How do you really feel about an American President firing the CEO of an American business ? OK, we do own GM, but just the basic premise of the idea has to raise your ears a bit, no ? Read Joseph Farah’s piece – Obama’s coupe d’etat – and be scared and forewarned, very scared… |
|
|
Read Mychal Massie – The end of the free market – and tell me you aren’t worried about what our President is doing. This is a very dangerous time for this country, especially with the likes of Pelosi, Dodd, Fran and Schumer in the middle of things. It is time for there to be term limits for all of Congress. One term, then out. Give another American a chance to make things better. That’s how real change occurs, constant changeover of ideas. Refining what works, adapting what doesn’t. How can anything be good if a person can stay in Congress for 30 or 40 years, run the same committee, and think he can’t be corrupted. Heck, it would be natural, so avoid it. Get back to Congress being a civic duty, there to vote on behalf of constituents. Hell, no pay, but free benefits. |

I got a panicked email from my hosting provider. If we go dark, fear not. The Musings will have to go to GoDaddy to get going, and get back online. It won’t take long but it will take time. If you see any server errors you’ll know what happened. I’ll get a temp page up quickly and will begin restoring soon thereafter. Let’s hope for the best, but plan for the worst… |
